Engelin Teh

Engelin Teh, SC is the Managing Director of Engelin Teh Practice LLC. She was called to the Singapore bar in 1979 after graduating from the University of Singapore. She was appointed Senior Counsel in 1998 and was admitted to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales in 2008. 

Engelin is a certified mediator with both the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) and is also an accredited mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in the United Kingdom and Regent’s University London, School of Psychotherapy & Psychology. She sits on the panels of IMI, SIMI, the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC), the Singapore Mediation Centre (including its Family Panel of Mediators) (SMC), the Singapore Construction Mediation Centre (SCMC) and is also on the Dispute Resolution & Compensation Panel (Mediation Panel) of the National Electricity Market of Singapore. 

Given her vast and varied litigation experience, Engelin is well equipped as a mediator to assist parties to work through complex situations and navigate differences to achieve effective solutions. Engelin has mediated complex issues both as a private mediator at SIMC, SMC for the Law Society Mediation Scheme and also as a volunteer mediator at the Family Justice Courts. She has successfully brought about settlement between parties in many of these cases. Engelin has been trained as a Collaborative Family Practitioner and is also a qualified Parenting Coordinator and was assigned the first Parenting Coordinator case in Singapore. She currently serves as Vice-Chairperson on the Family Law Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.
